Roll call found all members present. Some discussion between the audience and the Council members before the bids were taken up. The first bid: Stockland Equipment Sales Company-- Certified Check $300. P~ce .~1975. Add ~i~V0. if 14' blade is desired. Add ;~58.80 if 2 extra sets of 14 double end teeth are desired. Above prices f.o.b. your specified shipping point. Austin Western Road Machinery Company-- Certified Check $275.00 1. 32560. 2. 3485. (These prices include 2 extra sets of teeth or 3 in all 3. 1150. A used Austin hip Snorter Senior Grader which they would rent for any length of time not less than 30 days, at i~200, a month rental. Prices were f.o.b. Einneapolis or St. Paul, terms cash v~thin 10 days from date of invoice, less 2%, or cash not later than July let, 1930 witho~ interest. All ayes. ~otion by G~nnon, seconded by Stinson to place ordinance ~68 on file with the Secretary. ~otion by Karrow, seconded by Gammon, to accept the petition for Sewer on Tyler St. from 3Vth to 39th and that the petition go through the regular procedure. Ave... to instruct the Northern States Power Company and the Northwest- ern Bell Telephone Company to remove all poles from Central A e., from 3Vth to 42nd and place same in the alleys.
