Heights, held at the high school building on ~ue~, evening, Feb-
ruary lq, Called to order at 8:55 o~clock by l~iayor ~m. R. Foster,
with the.following ~nswering roll call: Dahl, K~rrow, Gillett and
Foster. Deutsch w~s absent.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read
Karrow r~ised a question as to the wording oflhe resolution intro-
duced by Deutsch ~nd governing the engaging of outside helD. It
w~s d'ecided that inasmuch ~s Dsutsch ,~s ~'~ot present the minutes
wou!d~ stand ~pproved with ~the priso that this feature could be
d£scuseed at the next me,ting.

A resolution was offered by Karrow, who moved its adoption,
that the bills be allowed as read. This ?~s ~ec. onded by Gillett ~nd
ca,'tied 'by a ~uanimous vote.
A petition bearing the sion~tures of 73~[~ of the property owners
of r~cord on 42nd 2Venue, from Central ~venue to the Rez~rvoir blvd.
and ~sking for the grading only of that str.oet, ~s presented to the
council by ~illiam Si mort. TLLe city m~.~ger ~nd various property
owners h~d been working on this prc~ect ~ince l~st fall and this
presentation ,,'as in compliance with ~ sug~'~stzon oy. tae council at
that time that t~,e former petition be gon~ over caf~$fully.
The Degree of H.~nor ClUb ~j~lied £o~ a permit to hold ~ dance
· ~ ,~.,~,~y 18. Tt was moved by Ka::ro~,'.~ ~nd s~co~ed by
Gillett ~nd c~zried un~imously that the permit be gr~nted.
A petition ~as received £rom property o'~ners ~ffected asking
for the grading of alle$ in Zilock 87, ~ ~istance of lO0 feet e~sterly
from 5th s'tr~ot. It ~:as moved O'y' K~_~row that the petition be ac-
cepted and the regular routine in such m~Zocz~ ~oliowed. This
seconded by D.~"~I ~nd ca£ri~d unanimously.
Val Keuchenmiester pzesented his resignation ~s secret~r7 to
the council: effecti./e follo~,~ing the February 14th ~:eeting. It '~vas
~.:~oved by Karro~, seconded Oy ~i!iett ~nd ca~ried unanimously ~hat
resignation be ~cc~pted.
