the r~gulating and t'~e licensing of ~gaso!ine fi:llinE stations in the
City of Coltumbia Heig'~ts" was read for the fi-r~'st time,

public improveme:dt--boW .in,ts!led. T~e city ~nager th'eh reported that
he baJ~ checked the most recent petition from ~lst Ave~.ue ~property owners
and had f0u~d that' the~e were not enough s-~gnatur~s of property owners ~
0f record. 'Dahl made a n~oti0n t'aat cit~ manager be instructed to co-
aperate on getting quit' claim deeds so that the' council would get some
definite understa.n~ing as to what action, it could take toward the end of
getting this' street graded and if necessary to do it un~er~ 4/~ vote
of the courail.
The owrers of the 'property whic~ had ,been condemn, ed on 39th and'
Jefferson"esr street opening in or,er t~at ~ewer' might be installed and
t~eir ~tt'brneys bad been pres.~ing t~e city manager for settlement ~ '
~'~eir 'awards' as provi~e'd by 'law. T~ere being no ~u~ds for this p~r-
pose available, and insamuch as provision had' been made for these ~nds

call was csrried by a vote o~ all ayes. ' '
The petition for annexation was again present'et7 and wit.~oU~ any
action, by the'aou:~a~l was referred to the city manager for comDlete
and 0areful c~ecking. ,
There being no further bueines~ t'~-~e me,c. ting was adjour~ed'up~n/~
motion by Deutsch, seconded by Dahl and carried tuaanimously.
