A petition was read from property
owners on Gould Ave. and Reservoir
Blvd. with 52 names to h, ave'a light~'
installed at that point. After re-~
marks a motion was made by Os-
trander, seconded by Ledwien, that
the petition be granted. Carried.
A petition was read from property
owners on Gould Ave. to have tbe
gtreet gr~aded and curb and gutter On
both .sides of street und side~'alk on
south, side of street. After remarks
the:petition was laid over until the
full council is present. .

came up and a~ter remarks a motion
was made by Ostrander, seconded by
Ledw[en, that the proposition be re-
jected. Carried. 3tr. Henderson came
before the council to ask to have the
grade established at Oakwood and
Silver Lake school to lay sidewalks. A
motion was made by Ostrander; sec-
onded by Ledwien. that a light be[
place in front o[ the Oakw'ood ~chool. ~
Carried. The council canvassed the[
election ballot on ,H. E. SoderhOhnl
olling the lmgest number o[ votes.,~l
~as dnly elected mayor of the City
Colnmb~a Heights. F.'M. Oillett and
Anna Gould .having polled the largest'
vote on council~ were duly elected to
'fill the ~acancies of the, two retiring
councilmen.
