Carried.. Councilman I{arrow introduced the following resolution and moved .for: its adoption :. !. Be it resolved, .tiy the city council of'. · the City of Coh,.mbia II~ights; that' the city manage} be, and h.ereby is, allthorized to advertise for 'bids for: motor power driven' street grafter. Therefore be. it further resolved, that the 'city council will consider such bids at its' ne.gt regular 'meeting to be held May 12th, 1925,~t' Columbia. school and that this resolution remain. on file with tile secretary of the cram- oil for one week, and the same to be published once in the official new,Pa.' ppr of the city. Seconded by Ledwien. ' Carried.' Jfidge Keyes came before ~he council- in regard to having Central avenue patroled, and. thought the council ought to' take some action and Mayor Mm'ton appoint a man .and-~city pay the salary. After remarks a motion ' 'by Ledwien, seconded by. Karrow, that Mayor ~Morton put on a man to patrol Central avenue £o the end the pavement..Secontled b~y Karrow. Carried.
