was held in the Columbia school Tues-
~day, April '28th, 1925, known as the
.pay roil meeting, or for any other bust-
,ness that might come up. The meet-
ing was called to order by Mayor Mol

Councilman I{arrow introduced the
following resolution and moved .for:
its adoption :.
!. Be it resolved, .tiy the city council of'.

the city manage} be, and h.ereby is,
allthorized to advertise for 'bids for:
motor power driven' street grafter.
Therefore be. it further resolved, that
the 'city council will consider such
bids at its' ne.gt regular 'meeting to

Jfidge Keyes came before ~he council-
in regard to having Central avenue
patroled, and. thought the council
ought to' take some action and Mayor
Mm'ton appoint a man .and-~city pay
the salary. After remarks a motion '

that Mayor ~Morton put on a man to
patrol Central avenue £o the end

Councilman lC-arrow reported a man-
hole cover on 39th and Jackson broken
and in a dangerous condition.
