A regular meeting of the city coun-
cil o£ the City of Colfimbia Heights
was held in Columbia .School Tues-
(lay, February .10th, 1925. Meeting
called tb order by Mayor Mortom Roll

sent. Minutes of the last regular and

An ordinance amending "An ordil
nance to license plumbers and. re~u-
,late the business of plumbing in the.
City of Columbia Heights." Adopted
May 5, 1922..
The .City cf Columbia IIeight~ does

Section 1. Tt~a~ .Section 1 of the
above quoted ordinance, which reads'
~ ~ts follows:
; "Section 1; "I shall, be Unlawful'
:for any, person, fi.rm or Corpora~cion
to engage iu the plumbing business,
or in any .of its~',branches, within the
i city of ~oluml~,Fa Heights, unless he
:or they, shall first obtain .a license
as such plumber o.r. plumb.ers froih
the city council of said city. To ob-
tain Such license tlmy must be a rest-

ed so as to read as follows:
"Section i. It sh'all he unlawful for
.any person, firm or corpdratior~ to en-
gage in the -Plumbing businesS, or'. in
any of its branches within the city
of Ci)lumbia Heights; nnless he or
they shall first obtain a license as
such plumber or plumbers from thc
city council of said city."

corporation applying for a license as
aforesaid shall present to tile city

of said bond, or a surety company au-
thorized to doI business 'in this 'state,

nify and saye harmless the City of

spects to the rules and regulations

tion, a Special Plumbers License,
without requiring, such certificate of
C0mPeteneY, but such Spec!al Plumb-
ers License shall only authorize' the
person, persons, firm. or corporation
to which it is issued to make outside
excavations in streets or premises for
the purpose of laying pipes and mak-[
ing 'connections with a dry sink or a
sill' cock, and shall not authorize the
holder of such license to do any kind
of.. work inside of any structure or
building..
