The 'following resolution was introduced by .Burgoyne, auld. moved fro' its adoption. Resolved, ~hat ,a cement curb ~nd gutter, be laid on both sides of (~0) ~ortieth Ave., from'. Central to fif- teen feet or more west of (Stb)~iftb Street. That cost thereof, be asses- ~ed the property especially ~)enefit- ted thereby.- Said assessment to be 'divided in (2) two equal annual in- stalments. Second ~ by Ledwein, carried. City Manager read ,a .letter from Mr. L~wson~,of St. Paul in .re- gard to loan. The bids '~or curb and gutter were read, and Gust Holtman of Minneapolis, being the lowest bid- der a motion was made, Ostrander, second by Ledwein that Gust Holt- man's bid be a~ccepted. Carried.
