E., in regard to a'dog th{t lost its life in a hole on · Madison street, asking $75.00 of the city for loss. Request from Minneapolis General Electric Co. to set poles on Fortieth (40) Ave. N[ E., moved bY Ostrander, seconded by Burgoyne, that permit be granted, carried unanimously. The question of water in sloughs was brought up. After'a lengthy, dis- cussion motion by Karr0w, seconded by Burgoyne, that C~ty Manager be in- structed to lay tile two hundred and sixty (260) feet on Jackson st. to Thir- ;ty-nintt~ (39)..ave. on Thirty-ninth (39) }rye. tO alley ~vest of Quincy st. and soutl~ i~{ alley for one hundred (100) feet more or less, carried unanim0usly. ° CounCilman Burgoyne offers a reso- lution, establishing a grade on Jackson.~/ street.
