after remarks, it was moved by Bur-
goyne, seconded 'by Ledwein, that city
assessor be paid 70 cents an hour.
Carried unanimously.
Mr..Ed. Baker asked council if city
would lay water main on Van Buren
from 40th to 41st if taxpayers furnish-
ed. the money: ~Council instructed city
manag'cr to take care of same and
