Regular Monthly Meeting.
Roll Call:-, Mayor Gauvette, Councilmen Burgoyne, Bentzen, Lynch, and
Ledwien, all present, also Manag~er ~ames Corr present.
Minutes of all meeting held in August were read and approved.
Petition of Gen. Electric Co. for permit to set poles referred to the
C i ty Manag er.
Petition of residents on 4th street, between A3rd and 44th Ave., for'
electricity was referred to the City Manager.
Petition to defer laying of sidewalk on Main street was read, and on
motion laying of said sidewalk was ordered not to be laid this year.
Petition was accepted and placed on file, petitioning for the laying of
a sidewalk on A0th ave., from Central Ave. ~ on north side of street.

Petition of Mr. Manning for City Tater, from 53rd Ave to City limits.
was referred to the City Managers

Bond of Southern Surety Co. for $5000.00 covering CiV. Manager Corr
read and ordered ~pproved by Motion of Burgoyne, sec. by,,ed~ien
and carried.
Moved, seconded and carried that the City Manager. hire an accountant to
audit the Village ho~s.
Moved by'Ledwien, sec. by Bentzen that we donate $25.00 to the Garden
Club, carried., same to be.. given as prizes at their
Moved, sec. and carried that~Oity At~. draw up a Dog 0rdi~auce.
Appointment of C.E. Ben, eft as City Clerk by Manager ~. Ce~r~ at &
lalary of $1000.00 per year, payable monthly, was approved by the Couneil,
on motion of Lynch, sec. by Bentzen and unanimously carried, also that
said C.E.~ennett shall furnish Bands to the City for $500.00 as CityClerk.
Moved, ,sc. and carried that Manager Corr order 500 more yds of Cinders,
maki2g a total of 1200 yds of cinders for the roads.
