M. for the purpose of canvassing} ,the election for the State' Loan, 'any other bhsi~iess that may dome fore the meeting. The meeting was called ~o order by Mayor 5Iorton. Rob call found members present but.Councihnan Bar- goyne. Pursuant to the res01ut~on'men. tionefl and notice duly given,'a spe- cial election' was duly held in {he Gity of Columbia ~eights' in the -- .County of Anoka, and the State of 5Hnneso~a~ on the 13th day of tober, 1923, fit' which election .the proposition of issuing certain refund- lng bonds to the State of Minnesota~ contained in that certain resolution adopted by the governing body 0f said City of Columbia Heights, oh the 18th day of September, 1923 was duly submitted to the qualified elect0rs thereof. The vote ~sas by ballot, and was c~st in a.spegial hal-. lot box. The election was /ega]ly conducted and after the cIose there- of, the baIIots ~ast. thereat were duly count6d and canvassed; whereupon it appeared and was duly-certified that there had been 440 ballots cast at said election. 0f which 413 were in favor of .said.
