· The minutes of the regnlar ~neeting
in April and all special meetings to
May regular meeting were read and
approved.
l~Iotion by Ledwein and seconded by
Burgoyne that tile Council as a whol~
be committee to take up the matter of
vacating alley on 40th and Central, on
the north side of street, carried.
l~Iayor Gauvitte made a report on
the damage suit 0f Mrs, I~, Thorsted
on Polk street,
Ledwein' made' motion that 'matter
be referred to former City-5[anager
Corr, as he~ claims we+e that he had
take~n down. a Keep-off sign she had:
put up on her property. No'second.;
Burgoyne moved,. Ledweiu' seconded
that her claims be rejected.: Carried.
~{otion by McKenna and seconded
by Bentzen that petition cal. ling for
ret'sing of sidewalk a foot, more ox'
less, as need be, from 38 to 39 on Van
huron be accepted. Roll call: Bent-
