Reading of I~inutes of January Meetings,& also of Feb. lst,1922.
Minutes approved as read.
Petition for Water Main on Jackson Street, between 40th & 42nd Ave.,
Was received, but was referred to the City Manager to check up
and report back to Council.
Petition for a sidewalk on both sides of the Street, on 6th street,
between Alst and 42nd ave., received~- RESOLVED that we accept
this petition and order the City Manager to bring in a report of
this project at our next meeting. Resolution by Jas.McKenna, sec.
by A. L. Bentzen and on roll call unanimously carried.
Reports of the Ernst & Ernst Auditing Co. were read saying that
their audit of the Clerk's, Treasurer's and Water Commissioner's
books, showed same to be correct, and following resolution was
offered by Jas. McKenna, sec. by Matt Ledwien and on roll call
unanimously carried:- Resolved that the audit reports covering
our City Clerk, City Treasurer and City Water Commissioner are
satisfactory and that these reports be placed on record in the
City Office.
Complaint of P. R. Munton in-re to his Water pipes freezing and
busting received, and same wa~ referred to our City Mngr. to do as
he thot best with. City Man, er reported back that the complaint
and bill attached thereto was rejected, and so ordered.
On resolution of Bentzen, sec. bY McKenna, & on roll call unanimously
carried, the Council accepted the following proposition from the
Mpls. Gen. Electric Co. that they would set poles for electric lights
in the houses facing 4th street, between 43rd and 44th Ave. ,provided
they were granted permission to set poles for street lights on
43rd Ave and Washington,43rd Ave. & 4th St., 43rd Ave & 3rd Str.,
these street lights to be 80 Volt Lights to cost us $24.00 per year,
and the City Clerk was ordered to inform Mr. Hogan of the Gen. Elec. Co.
that their proposition was accepted by the Council and for them to
go ahead and set their poles for both street lights and for lighting
said houses on 4th street.
On resolution of JasMcKennassec. by Matt Ledwien, on roll call
unanimously carried, the Commercial Club was granted permission to
hold their Club Meetings in the City Fire Hall. Councilmen Bentzen

proposition.
The following Bills were audited and allowed:-
