}finutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved.
A request for a street light and street'sign on 3rd Street and 40th
Avenue was received and they were informed street lights were being
installed. *

on Jefferson 'between 43rd and 44th Avenues take its regular course.

. ~dolph Hansem, 3802 Reservoir Blvd. to fill the vacancy on the ~
~f~w,~~ Commission. Motion by Trench seconded by Yencho to concur

A letter ~as received from Floyd C. Lawson, sec. Firemen, s Civil
Service Commission asking for a raize in wages for Omar Schwartz and
Pat Kennedy. He was informed this could not be taken up until the
new budget was made up this fall.
Representatives from the Park Board were present and had severa~ matters
to take up and it was agreed to meet with the Council at a special
meeting in the near future.

to draw up a contrac~ with Minnesota Linseed 0il~ Co. for Sewerage
Charges. Roll Call - All Ayes.
First reading of Ordinance [o.242, being an Ordinance authorizing the
s~le by the City of Columbia Heights of certain Real Estate known as
lots 1,2,3, & ~, Block I Second Sub-division of Block "F", Columbi~
Heights Annex to ~inneapolis.
First reading of Ordinance No.2A3, being an Ordinance vacating the
alley abutting on lots 23 to 31 inclusive and lots 32 to 39 inclusive
Block 8~, Co2umbia Heights Annex to Ninneapolis.
Second reading of Ordinance No.237, being an Ordinance authorizing
the sale by the City of Columbia Heights of certain Real Estate known
as Lot 5, Block l, Second Sub-division of Block "F", Columbia Heights
