Roll Call - Mygaard, Trench, Yencho, Soderholm - Yes. Weldon - ~[o. Weldon submitted his resignation on the Zoning Commission. Motion by Trench seconded by yencho to accept his resignation. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Trench seconded by Yencho that .the Mayor be appointed to fill tl~e vacancy on the Zoning Commission. Roll Call - All Ayes. Resolution offered by Nygaard seconded by Weldon, BE IT RES~'~ED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that, ~gHEREAS exigencies have arisen making it necessary to obtain new POlice Patrolmen and, '~'EREAS ~onslderab!e diffiCult'~~ is encountered i~ malnt~ining Police Patrolmen at present wage levels, N0W T~R~PORE it is hereby resolved that the basic wage for probationery patrolmen shall be $225.00 per month as of August l, 1948, and permanent status patrolmen s~all re- ceive $240.00 per month as of August l, 1948, with time in rank~ increase as may be set by the Council. Roll Call - Resolution offered by yencho seconded by Nygaard, BE IT HEREBY RE' SOL~ZED by the City Council Df the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treasurer be and she is hereby isstructed to transfer the sum of ~3000.00 from the Liquor Fund to the Street Fund; and that there are sufficient moneys in said Liquor fund to make such transfer.
