The City Nanager was authorized to contact the County Board'and ~ City of Anoka regarding the Airport develope~ents~The~following~Airport Commission was appointed to represent Col. H~ights.Leon cohnn, John S~man & A discussion regarding traffic signs on ~entral avenue and this was~°s' wargo turned over to our Chief of police. ~otion by Nygaard seconded by Weldon, to piece the comr~unication on file received from Cmar Schwartz, Fire Chief, regarding wages. Becretar~ ~d' the -cS~ncil ' OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Regular meeting January 27, 1948 ~leeting called to order at 8 P.M. All members present. ~inutes of t~e last meetiug were read and approved. Russell Gordon, Arthur Ebert, Gerald Belden and Ted phillips representing the Fridley town Board were present and discussed with the Council fire protection for Fridley. Arrangements were made for them to meet with our Fire Chief~ City Attorney and City N~naEerz on Tuesday Feb. 3rd at 8 p.~. at our Ci~ Office, to try and work out some eolution. Representatives were present from the Fire Department regarding the dumping of Refuge by the N.W. Linseed Oil Co. on City Property. The City ~anager was instructed to notify the N.W. Linseed Co. to make other arrangements. Motion by Nygaard seconded by Weldon, to grant the Northern States Power Co. permission to place a pole in alley between ~ain and cal- ifornia, 39th and 40th Avenue. Roll Call - All Ayes.
