Roll Call - All Ayes. Motiom by Nygaard seconded by Weldon, that the Columbia Heights Athletic Assoc. be permitted to conduct two Bingo Concessions a month at the Columbia Heights Field House. Roll Call - All Ayes. iResolution offered by Weldon seconded by Nygaard, The City Council of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that - The rate for sewerage disposal and ~aintainance for home or residential users shall be set at forty cents (~.40) per month per dwellin~ unit. Be it further resolvdd that the sewerage rate for commercial and/or industrial est- ablisb~ents shall be for the first 5000 cubic feet 5.5 cents per 100 cubic feet per month and a graduated scale o£ rates for hi,er con- sumptions as set forth in resolution passed by the council on December 58, 1943. Resolution offered by ~ygaard seconded by Weldon, the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that - ~REAS, the present rate charged for water in the city of Columbia Heights has been found ~o be inadequate to defray operating expenses of the Water Department since the City of Minneapolis increased the rate charged for water to the City of Columbia Heights~ BE iT ~?~FORE RESOLMED that the water rate shall be as follows: ~2.00 per quarter for first 600 cubic feet of water and 15 cents for each additional 100 cubic feet. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if bill tendered is paid in full on or before the due date.a discount of 50 cents shall be allowed. Roll Call - All Aye s. BE IT FURTHER REKOE~tPED, That in case such deposits shall at any time exceed Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars, Said depository shall immediately furnish bond of securities in lieu of bond according to law, and the Federal ResErve Bank of Minneapolis Minnesota, is hereby designated as a place for the safekeeping of all securities furnished in lieu of such bond~ Roll Call - All Ayes. Resolution offered by Yencho seconded by Weldon, RESOLVED, That we hereby designate the Columbia Heights State Bank of Colutn. bia Heights, Minnesota, as a depository for moneys of this City for a period of one year, beginning the 1st day of January, 1948, and. the Treasurer of this City is hereby directed to deposit moneys of this city in said bank; and the said Columbia Hei~s State Bank of Columbia Heights is hereby authorized and directed to honor and pay any checks or orders, when signed b~ the Treasurer, for the withdrawal or trans- fer of finds on deposit in said Ba~ in whatever form.
