All members present. ~inutes of last regular meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Nyborg from 37th and University appeared before the Council regarding the warehouse on University, which was used by the city for some time and this was turned over to the City Eanager and City Attorney for investigation. ~otion by Jackson seconded by Nygaard, that the following Petitions be turned over to the City ~anager: Sidewalk, Curb & Gutter - 7th Street bstween 45th and 46th Aves. Grading - 53rd Avenue from University to 6th Street. Roll Dall - All Ayes. ~otion by Jackson seconded by Weldon, that the Licenses J. Pavlock, ~O10 Central Ave. for Restaurant and on and off-sale beer take their regular course. Roll Call - All Ayes. Eotion by Nygaard seconded by $pekulant that the Heating License be granted The Pure 0il Co., 1~06 South 1st St., ~inneapolis. Roll Call - All Ayes. Second reading of Ordinance No.~18 authorizin~ the sale by the City of Columbia Heights of certain real estate known as Lots 1E and 15, Second Subdivision of Block F Columbia Heights Annex. Eotion by Nygaard seconded by Spekulant that we accept this Ordinance. Roll Call - All Ayes.' Bids were received from the following on Fire Equipment: Fyr Fyters products Hewitt Rubber Corp. ~J.N. Eotion by Weldon seconded by Spekulant that the request from John Nordin to use the lots on Central Avenue owned by the City for a used car lot be tabled for further consideration. Resolution offered by Jackson seconded by Nygaard, that the City Council o~ the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that the salary of ~:~iss Rosella Johnson, City Clerk and Treasurer, be set at ~190.00 per month beginning July 1st, 1947.
