5'!eeting called toorder at 8:05 P.~. All member present
~otion by Jackson seconded by Nygaard, to grant a Restaurant License
to Ben Benzick, 501 - ~0th Ave. Roll Call - All Ayes.
A resident from 37th and Johnson and also 6ne from Benjamin were in
inquiring when water would be'installed and they were informed this
would be done as soon as material was available.
A proposed Ordinance was received from the'Fire Department subject
to the approval of our City Attorney. This to be taken up at our next
meeting.~
The Garbage and Refuge Collection was up for discussion but no
decision made.
Resolution offered by J.ackson seconded by Spekulant, ~HEREAS, Special
Assessments on Job #1~for Lot lQ Block 48 Columbia Heights Annex,
in the amount of ~.70, has previously been referred to the County
Auditor to be levied; and, WHEREAS, such assessments have been paid in
full to the City Treasurer of Colhmbia Heights (Dec.15, 1946);
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE City Council 6f the City of Columbia
Heights that the County Auditor be and he ~ereby is authorized to
cancel from the assessment rolls the assessment against said lot.
