Members present, - Jackson, Nygaard, Spekulant, Nordin; absent, Lathrop. Two new property owners living on 4Grd and Quincy St. N. E. suggested improvements, such as curb, sidewalk, watermain and street to be graded down. A complaint was made in regard to a leaking watermain. Olsson advised that pipe cannot be obtained until next year....and advised that a petition be signed by property owners. He added that there are fifteen blocks of watermain installation, still unfinished, with priority over said petition. Mr. Nordin suggested the signed petition be presented at the next ~egular meeting because this meeting was to be for the purpose of discussing the budget. A complaint was made in regard to congestion due to traffic near N. W. Linseed Oil Co. - such complaint submitted by Chief Cottrell. Mr. Cohen submitted a petition recommending certain changes. Discussion. It was suggested that the Northern States Power Co. and the N. W. Bell Tele- phone Co. remove poles and that part of ground be re-graded to provide more footage on the street, thus eliminating traffic congestion. Motion by Jackson, seconded by Nygaard, that petition on removal of poles be presented to City Manager and the Chief of Police for action. Roll Call - All ayes.
