Motion by Jackson seconded by Lathrop that petition for water main from Stinson Blvd. and 42nd Avenue north and from 4§th and Arthur east to Stinson Blvd. take the ~ regular course. Roll Call - All ayes. Motion by Nygaard seconded by Spek~lant that petition for sidewalk on northside of 4~nd between 4th and 5th Street take the regular course. Roll Call - All ayes. Motion by Jackson seconded by Lathrop that City Manager be instructed to advertise for bids for construction of light~ng system on Central from 39th to 41st, 41st and Central to Jackson, and on 40th from University to Washingkon. Motion by Lathrop seconded by Jackson that City Manager instruct owner of property that dumping on Central and 39th will be permitted if signs clearly stating type of filling to be used be displayed and watchman be provided 24 hours a day. Roll Call All ayes. Motion by Jackson seconded by Lathrop to reeuest the school board to connect with the sewer at the Silver Lake School. Roll Call - All ayes. Motion by Lathroo seconded by Jackson that due to pressure of traffic on Central Avenue it has become necessary to cancel 24 hour parking privileges previously granted to Marine Tool and Die-40th & Central. Mr. Wilkenson present at meeting in regard to improvements in Hilltop area. Disc. Motion by Jackson seconded by Lathrop that City Council go on record as being in favor of this project and will do its utmost to provide the necessary utilities. Roll Call - All ayes.
