Meeting called to order at 8:10P. N. All members present.
Motion by Jackson seconded by Nygaard to suspend reading of the minutes.
all ayes.
Roil call
Residents from Polk Street oresent at meeting in regard to garage at 38~8 Polk St.
City Attorney reported he had notified Mr. Ferraro to tear down new addition to
garage within ten days.
Milton Quimette present at meeting in regard to renting of building on University
which has been used for storing of grader by the City. Dis.
Motion by Jackson seconded by Nygaard that Northern Coach Co. be allowed to rent
the building on University for $20.00 per month while grader is being stored and
$25.00 thereafter. Roll Call - All ayes.
Bids for gas opened - said bids to cover a period of one year beginning Aortl 1, 1946.

Motion by Jackson seconded by Spekulant that aoplication for cigarette license be
granted to Suoer Value Store 4020 Central. Roll Call - All ayes.
Notion by Nygasrd seconded by Spekulant that apotication for electrician license be
granted to the Parsons Elec. Co. 417 So. 6th St. Roll - All ayes.
Motion by Nygaard seconded by Lathrop that application be granted to the Gas Heat
Engineering Co. - 3020 E. Granklln for heating, ventillating and air conditioning
equipment and gas piping license, and that $15.00 be refunded if amendment to
ordin~nce ~204 is msde. Roll Call - All ayes.
Motion by Lathrcp seconded by Jackson that application be granted for Cigarette
license and off sale beer license to Hugo Walin-4901 University. Roll Call -
All ayes.
Motion by JaCkson seconded by Nygaard that alectrician license granted to
Herbert Bacon - Rt. S, be cancelled and license fee returned. Roll Call - All ayes.
Petition read ~equestf~g!,grading and cindering of alley west of Madison Place
throught to Fifth Street. Mr. Kohn appeared before the Council and presented an
alternative for opening of the alley.
Motion by Lathrop seconded by Jakcson that petition be turned over to City Manager
for investigation. Roll Call - All ayes.
Petition read requesting ~ new sidewalk on the east side of Madison Street from
41st to 40th.
Motion by Jackson seconded by Lathrop that petition be turned over to GitFManager.

Petition read reouesttng sidewalk across lots 27-98-29 in Block 17 and street
light on corner of 48th & Sixth St.
Petition read reouesting grading of 39th Avenue from Res. Blvd. to Central.
