#40865, amount $38,577 for improvement of parks, be turned over to
the Park Board.

the Bus Transportation Committee, be placed on file. Roll call - All

Motion by Prltchard, seconded by Bentzen, that the petition of the
residents on Lookout Place for Tarvfa of said street ~ts entire length
from 4Oth Ave. to 5th St. N . E., Curb and gu~ter on said street for
its entire length from 40th to'Sth St., and extension of the sidewalk
on the West ~lde of said street, from the present point of termination
which is about half of the length of said street, to the point of
tersectfon of sa~d street with 40th Ave., be turned over to the City
Manager for check on delinquent taxes. Roll call - All ayes.

a member of same.
Motion by Prltchard, seconded by Bentzen, to accept the recommendation
of A. Spekulant and retify the appointment of John Behun to fill the
unexpired term of A. Spekulant. Roll call - All ayes. (2 years)
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Spekulant to re-appoint Ellsworth Erick-
son as a member of the Park Board for a term of five years. Roll call-
all ayes.
1st reading of Ordinance #168, Being an ordinance regulating the riding
of horses on streets, alleys, any other public highways within the City
of Columbia Heights.

of the City of Col~bIa aeights hereby resolves: That the City Treasurer
be and she hereby is authorized and directed to transfer $500. from the
Liquor Fund to the Special Sewer Fund; and the City Council hereby finds
that there is sufficient money in the Liquor Fund to make such transfer
said money so transferred to b~used for extSnsion of sewer on 41st Ave.

be and she hereby is authorized and directed to return ~ or refund
to Gordon Cummens the sum of $4.50 being an amount of over-payment of
a license fee to operate Ten-Strike machine during the year of 1989.

be and she hereby is authorized and dlrecte~ to transfer the sum of
$200. from the Liquor Fund to the Water Fund and the City Council hereby
finds that there is sufficient monies in said Liouor Fund to make such
