Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Bentzen, that the storm sewer proposal~om Minneapolis, be turned over to the City Manager and City Attorney for legal action. Roll call - Ail ayes. Motion by Jackson, seconded by Prdtchard, that th~ request of E. F. Deviney for restaurant license for 4050 Central Ave. be granted. Roll call - Ail ayes. Motion by Oentzen, seconded by Opekulant that the request of Roy Gale for cancellation of his restaurant, off and on sale licenses for 500 - 40thAve., be granted. Roll call - Ail ayes. Motion by.Pritcnard, seconded by J~ckson, that the request of James Laydon for restaurant, off and on sale licenses for 500 - 40th ave. be .granted. Roll call - Ail ayes. Motion by Jackson, seconded by Prttchard, to accept and place on file the Resolution. passed by the City Council of the City of Minneapolis, granting to the City of Columbia Heights *~ a right-of-way for sidewalk purposes .over certain real estate owned by the City of Minneapolis in the City of Columbia =eights.. Roll call - All ayes, Resolution offered by Pritchard, seconded by Jackson, accepting the grant described in the above resolution, subject to reservations set forth, pursuant to the terms and condi- tions .contained therein. Motiomby Pritchard, seconded by Jackson, to turn over to the City Manager to check on delinquent taxes, the petition for cutting an alley thru and grading same in rear of lots 52,~1,~9 and ~8, block 6. Roll call - Ail ayes.. Motiom by ~entzen, seconded by Pritchard, to concur in the request of the Mpls. Gen. Elc. Co. to. erect poles in alley between 42nd and 43rd and Tyler and Polk St. Roll call - Ail ayes.. Motiom by Jackson, seconded by Pritchard, that P~te Gannon be re-appointed for another term ~u the Civil Service Commission and that he. be notified of same. Roll call - Ail ayes. Motiom by Pritchard, seconded by ~entz.en, that the communication regarding dammges to the Laker ~roperty, but turned over to the City Manager for his recommendation to the Council. Motion by ~ackson, seconded by Oentzen tha~ the City Clerk send a copy of the letter from the League'of Minn. Muni. regarding state-wide f-ireworks law, to the Veterans of Foreign 44 Wars and the American Legion, for their reaction.
