Regular meeting called to order March 26, 1940. All mem0ers present.
Previous minutes read and approved.
Motion by JackSon, seconaed-by Bentzen, that the request for restaurant, off and on
sale licenses by A. W. Anderson, 2308 McNair Ave. N., be laid aside for two weeks
(regular proceedure) to allow for investigation. Roll call - ~11 ayes.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Bentzen, that Mr. P. C. Douglas, Mgr. of 2111top
Golf Course be~granted a restaurant, off and on sale license for the golf course.
Roll, call - Ail ayes.
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Jackson, that Oakwood Mcther~s Club be granted a
~ance permit for April 12th and the fee be waived. Roll call - Ail ayes.
Motion by PrltChard, seconded by Bentzen, that the communication from the Mple.
Gen. Elec. Co. regarding cost of installation of ornamental street lighting be
placed on file. Roll call - Ail ayes.
Motion 0y PritcAmr~. seconded by Jackson, that the Police Dept. be authorized to
send a delegate to the Police School to be held at the University, April 15 - 19 and
tae school fee to be a~sumed by the City. Roll call - Ail ayes.
Motion by Jackson, seconded by Pritchard, that the Mpls. Gen. Elec. Co. be granted
permission to erect four poles in the alley between 38th & Edgemore Place; 2 and
2~ St. Ne E. Roll call - Ail ayes.
Discussion as to work being done on the Field House. Council to meet at the Field
House at 5 P.m. Wednesday to look it over.
