Heights.
Reading of oetition of beer oarlor owners, reeuesting th~vt they be oermi~ed to re-
main open until 2 A. M. on Saturd~s.

Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Bentzen, that the above Ordina~uce ~165 be stricken

an Ordinance licensing and regulating the sale at retail of non-intoxicating malt
lieuors ~ud oroviding a oenalty for the violation thereof.

Telegram read from Senator Lundeen regarding the aoproval of W. P. A. orojects.
Motion by Bentzen, seconde~ by Soekulant that the reeuest of Mrs. McNurlin for oayment
of donator bill for broken ankle, be denied, due to the fa~ t~hat same was outlawed.

Resolution offered by Bentzen, seconded by Jackson, ~e City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby resolves: ~at the City Hanger be and he is hereby authorized
to soend the sum of not to exceed Five Hundred ~$~00.) for the ourchase o£ tile and
other incidental suonlies and ~aterials necessary for a swwer 0roject; monies for such
exoense to be t~cen from the Special Sewer Fund. Roll call - All ayes.
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Jackson, that ~lst Ave. N. E., East of Central and
Reservoir be included in the above resolution. Roll ca~.l - All ayes.
Resolution offered by Bentzen, se~nded b~ SoePralant, T]~ City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby resolves: That the CitY Treasurer be and she is hereby
authorized to transfer the sum of Five Hundred ($~00.) from the Liquor Fund to a
Soecial Sewer Fund as the City Council hereby finds that there is s~l~icient surolus
monies in the Lienor Fund to make said transfer. Roll call - All aves.
Motion by Jackson, seconded by Pritchard, that Dr. Good be granted a oermit to budld
three tourist cabins behind his oil station at $Sth & Central. Roll call - All ayes.
