Regular meeting called to order October 10, 1939. All mercers present.
Previous minutes read and approved.
Letter read from the Oom~nercial Club requesting certain i_~provem~nts.
Ordinance $164 offered by ~ritchard, seconded by Jackson. Au Ordinance to vacate a
portion of a street herein described. ~e City of Cold, ia Heights does ordain:
Section 1. Street to be vacated. That the street described as follows, to wit;
The E. 60 Ft. in width of the following described strip of land; commencing at a point
in the south line of Section 25, TownsHip 30, Range 24, in said Anoka County, Minnesota
distant 170t3 Ft. E. of the SW corner of the SE ~ of said section 25, and run:-.ing thence
N at right angles along the E boundary line of the orezent reservoir site of said City
of Minneapolis, in saiA section 25, a distance of 1950 F~. to th NE corner of said res-
err&ir site; thence W at right angles l~0 ft; thence S at right angles 1980 ft. to the
~ line of said section 25; and thence E at right angles along the S. line oN said
section 25, l~0 Ft to the place of beginning and als0, commencing at the NE corner
of the reservoir site of the City of Minne~oo;.is in the SE quarter of Section 25, Town-
ship 30, Range P.4, in said Anoka County', Minnesota, which ooint is W of and distant
934.8 Ft. from the E line of said SE~, of said Section $5 and which ooint is $ of and
distant 634.75 Ft from the N line of se. id SE~ and runnip~ thence N fro~ said point of
beginning on a line oarallel with and distant 93~.8 Ft from the E line of said SF~ to

Dhxnicioalities regerding PoLice Training School be turned over to ~he Police Deoartment
for their consideration. Roll call - All ayes.
