Resolution offered by Pritchard, seconded by Wohlford,
Whereas, the Board of Freeholder of the City of Columbia Heights, otherwise known
as the Charter Commission, has submitte~ to the City Council of the City of Colum-
bia Heights, a proposal that the City Charter be amended by adding thereto a
section oroviding for compensation for the Mayor and C@uncilme~,
NOW ~LEREFORE, The City 0ouncil of the 0ity of Colunbia Heights~hereby resolves
that a special election be held in the City of Columbia Heights on the 8th day
of November, 1958, at which special election the orooosed amendment be sub~z~tted
to the voters of the CitY, and the City Clerk and City Manager are hereby instructei
to take such steps as are required by statute and City Cherter for the holding
of such special election on such date. Roll call-Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard,
Wohlford, Bassett. Nays: None.
