Re~la~ meeting called to order Ma~ 24th, 1938. All members present with the exception
of Mr. Severson who is ~ll.
Previous minutes read and approved with addition, ie; that the license of Sydney Berman
was revoke& with his request.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Wohlford, that the request of Mrs. Stinson for withdrawal
as Judge of election be granted. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard, Wohlford,
Bassett. Nsjfs: ~one.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Wohlford, that the application of Mrs. Schade for judge
of election in Oakwood Schaol be approved. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard,
Wohlford, Bassett. Nays: None.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Bentzen, that a olumber's license be granted to A1
Lundblad. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard, Wohlford, Bassett. Na~s: None.
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Pritchard, to laF the matter of advertising the Liquor
Store in the Az~ual Picnic ~ouvenir Book of the Hotel and Restaurant Emoloyees Union,
until next meeting for a legah opinion. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard, Wohlford,
Bassett. Nays: Nc~e.
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Pritchard, that~he request of license for operation of
amusement machines by J. I. Barry be laid on the table. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen,
Pritchard, Wohlford, Bassett. Nays: None.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Bentzen, that the reouest of the Fire Dept. for $100.~/
expense fund for three men to attend the Convention at Wadena June 13, 14 and 15th,
be granted. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard, Wohlford, Bassett. Ns%rs: None.
Resolution offered by Pritchard, seconded by Wohlford, that the wage scale for the
following while working for the 0ity, be set as follows:
Oat M~ - $1.00 net hour.
Blade Man- $.85 per hour.
Road.Patrol - $.90 per hour.

Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Pritchard, that the Socialists be allowed the privilege
of holding an open air meeting in Columbia Heights. Roll call - A~es: Bentzen, Pritchsrd,
