Adjourned meeting called to order April 19th, 1938 at the City Offices. All members
present with the exception of Mr. Bentzen.
Mr. Woodward heard with reference to getting interest on City funds.
Motion by Wohlford, seconded byPritchard, to turn the following petition over to the
City Manager. We, the undersigned resident owners of property on Fourth St. between
41st Ave. and 42nd Ave. do hereby petition the Council of the City of Columbia Heights
Minnesota to construct sidewalk, curb and gutter on both sides of Fourth St. between
41st:and 42nd Aves. Signed by twelve resident owners. Roll call - A~es: Pritchard,
eeverson, Wohlford, Bassett. Nays: None.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Severson, that the request of H. F. Caron for re-
vo~tion of restaurant, off and on sale licenses be granted. Roll call - Ayes:
Pritchard, $everson, Wohlford, Bassett. Nays: None.
M~tion by Severson, seconded by Wohlford, that the request of Mable 0xendale for
restaurm~t, off and on sale licenses for AO01 Central Ave. be granted. Roll call -

Motion by Severson, seconded by Wohlford, that the request of A. W. Carlson for
revocation of ~estaurant, off and on sale licenses for $38-40th Ave. be granted.

Motion by Wohlford, seconded by Severson, that restaurant, off and on sale liecenses
be granted to Harry From for 838-AOth Ave. N. E. and that same be granted subject to
inspection of the City Health officer. Roll call - Ayes: Pritchard, eeverson, Wohlford,
Nays: Bassett.

Motion by Severson, seconded by Pritchard, that Wohlford be designated as delegate
to a~t on the Central committee for the relief b~d. Roll call - Ayes:Pritchard,
Severson, Bassett. Wohlford, not voting.
Bids on tennis court posts and wire, read from Crowley Fence, Crown Iron Works and
the Central L~mber Co.
Motion by Severson, seconded by Pritchard, that the City Manager be allowed to spend
$~50. ~ for material for the Tennis and Volley Ball Courts.~.Roll call - A~es:

Motion oy meverson, seconded by Pritchard, that Ordinauce $147 be turned over to the
City Manager and City Treasurer for adjustment before the next meetin$. Roll call

the proper funds. ~

Motion by eevers~n, seconded by Pritchard, that the City Mansger put a notice in the
reminder notifying all people who have changed from cess-pool to sewer must fill in
the cess-pool Or the City will take action.
