Mcttion by Pritchard, seconded by Severson, that Wm. Levy be granted a permit to operate
a motion picture theatre. Roll call - A~es: Bentzen, Pritchard, Severson, Wohlford,

Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Pri$chard, that McCallum be granted an ice license. Roll

Motion by Severson, seconded by Bentzen, that the reqt~st of the Fire Dept. for dance

Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Pritchard, that the above matter be laid on the table
for investigation and that a written report be made by the po!_ice dept. at the ne~t

Motion by severson, seconded by Pritchard, that the petttions fOr cUrb and gutter
and tarvia dressing on Madison St. from 41st to ~L3rd, be checked and the proper

Motion by Severson, seconded~by Pritchard, that the water bill of Pete Eolby be left
to the City Marker ~or adjustment and collection. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen,

Motion by Severson, seconded by Bentzen, that police officers desiring to attend
the Srd Annual Police Short Course from April 28th to 29th incl., at the University,
m~ do so, their exoenses to be paid by the City. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard,

Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Pritchard, that the City Man~ger all a meeting for next
Tuesday evening, April 19th, for the purpose of taking up the Oxendale license and also
any other business which might come beforA the meeting. Roi! call - Ayes: Bentzen,

Motion by Bentzen, Seconded by Severson, that the City Manager get an e~ti~ated cost
on Diamond Ball back stops for the Park and report to .the Council next Tuesday. '

Resolution offered by Pritchard, seconded by Bentzen - The City Council of the City
of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that the sum of $80.00 be transferred from the
Sewer Maintenance Fund to the Park Fund. The City~Oouncil hereby finds that there is
a surplus of funds in the Sewer fund to make the said transfer.

Motion by Severson, seconded by Bentzen, that the City Manager communicate with the
Charter Commission recommending setting up a Park Board and salary for the Mayor and
