Motion by Severson, seconded by Wohlford, that Mrs. Spencer be granted a dance permit for the P.T.A. and the usual fee be waived. Roll call - A~ee: Bentzen, Pritchard, Severson, Wohlford, Baaeett. Na~s: None. lotion by Severson, seconded by Pritchard, that the Plymouth Market be granted an off sale license. Roll call - Ayes: Bentzen, Pritchard, Severson, Wohlford, Baseett. Nays: None. Mr. Weiler of the State Relief Office heard with reference to relief set-up. 0ouncil to meet with the County Board on Saturday, to determine whether or not the City shall dispense relief under the Township system. Mr. Campbell heard from with reference to the cost of the Field House. $9,054. to be furnished by the City. Mr. Palmquist of Federal Relief Worker's Section of ~544heard from with reference to the supplemental budget submitted on Feb. llth, and progress made on same since then. He stated that they were going to refuse to accept the essential part of the budget unless the budget is set back to March !st. The essentioA part of the budget is: 1- Groceries, 2.- Milk, 3- Clothing, 4- Fuel and from there on they were not going to follow the budget subn~tted on Feb. llth, but an adequate budget determAned by the Unio~. .. After a lengtl~v discussion of the above, motion was made by Severson, seconded by BOltzen, that the City Manager den~and that a State Investigator be sent over here to- ~o~own~rning to give the City information on the relief set-up. Resolution offered by Wohlford, seconded by Severson, #The City Council of the City of 0olumbia Heights/hereby resolves that there b~ transferred from the Liquor Fund the sum of $277.50~^to the Permanent Improvement Fund and the City Council hereby finds that there is sufficient monies in the Liquor Fund to make such transfer..
