Mo'rich by Wohlford, seconded by Severson, that the application of Charles Lakotos for
refundment of taxes paid on personal property, be turned over to the Oity Assessor.

An0ka County, Minnesota, a petition for the settlement and abatement of accumulated~ta~es,
pehalties, interest and costs upon certain real estate located in the City of Col~?mbia
~elghts, which petition is hereto attacheA, and, ~.'
W~ereas, the said C. W Lorenz proposes to organize and operate a tanning factory upon
saSd property, and,
Wh~_reas, the City Council of the City o~ Columbia Heights is of the opinion that said
bdAiness will reduce unemployment and out said property back upon the tax rolls,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE$OLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, ANOEA

~$) That this Council recommend to the Board of County Commissioners of Anoka County, Minne-
SOta, that the sum of three hundred ($300.00) dollars be accepted in full settlement and
~cellation of all accumulated~axes, interest,loenalties, and costs up to and including
the year 1938, upon the aforesaid property.
(2) That a copy of this resolution be sent to the Board of County Commissioners of Anoka
0ounty, Minnesota.
