County Bosrd's Proposal fo: Emoloyment of Relief Clients
in the city of A~oka smd C. lumbia Heights.
1st - That the Suoerintendent of relief sl issue ~o each such relief client at the
time relief o~der is issued, a work slip ~et~n~ole to the City M~u~ger of the City
in ~ich the clien~ resides. Said work's Lio shall slow the n~ber of ho~s work
necessary, corn-outed at the '~revailing wag. seale, to eq~l t.~e am.o~t of relief order
issued.
2nd. - That said City M~ager shall then said relief client to such work as
~ be avail~ole for the n~ber of hours :Lndicm~ed on said work slio.
~rd.- That a weekly cay roll s~mll be ~d. by t~e City ~ager to the Suoerintendent
of Relief givi~ the nmne of each person emoloyed during t~e week ~d ho~s worked
each d~ and t~ ~o~t earned by each, c,,mouted at the ~re~ailing wage scale oer
Ath. - The ~o~t so earned shall 0e en~e'ed as a credit to said relief client's
~acco~t by the Suoerintendent of Relief.

6th. - T~t such e~loyees shall be ins~d ~der ~he co~ty's re,ar liability
insur~ce policy ~d said oremi~ paid by the Co~ty. That each city. re~b~se the
cowry for the cost of the ins~ce for ~ersons so emoloyed by it.
