Meeting called for the ~mmrpose of acting e~ the petitions for special im~rovements, and az~ other l~u~iness which might come before the meeting. Resolution offered by Severson, seconded by Bassett, ~nereas, on the. 2~th da~ of ~ly, 1931, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights to surface Forty-second Ave. from Central Avenue to Reservoir Blvd., and to assess the cost of said improvements to abutting property, which cost was to be approximately four dollars ($4.00) per forty foot lot. llhereae, the aforesaid petition was referred to the City Manager for investigation and report as to the requisite number of signatures. The City Council of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves: Section 1. That the Council hereby finds and determines that the petition to ~trface Forty-seconds Ave. from Central Avenue to Reservoir Blvd. is sigaed by the resident owners of more than §1% in frontage of the property abutting on said street named in said petition as the location of said improvement aa shown by the records of the.Register of Deeds.
