On reoomendation of Mr. Carroll, & motion was made. by TJosvold, seconded
by Eazrow, that in the matter of decree of court in widening of University
Avenue, a Aaoree now on file with Clerk of Court of Anoka County; said
decree to be recorded with Register of deeds, if in the opinion of the
city attorney said decree has been properly rendered. Roll call, all ayes.
Reading of letter from Volunteer Fireman,s Benefit Association asking
that insurance p&lioies falling due April 23 be renewed. Resolution by
Earrow, seconded by Miller, that they be renewed. Roll call, all ayes.
Motion that any members of council, wishing to attend the Speolat Conference
for Municipal Officials to Consider Tax Limitation _and Expenditure Control
Bills. Affecting Municipalities, at the St. Paul Hotel, March 21, be
allowed to attend with expenses paid by city. Motion by Kazrow, seconded
by Bassett. Roll call, all ayes.
Motion by TJosvold, seooncled by Miller, that bids for collection of
garbage be opened. Roll call, all. ayes.
Resolution by Miller, seconded, by B&ssett, the2 Jolu~ Behun, as lowest
bidder be retained as garbage collector at $8 per month for one year
from April 1, 1935. Roll call., all ayes.
Motion by Earrew, seconded, by Bassett, that bill from Scandinavian Home
of Shelter be referred back to them with a letter suggesting that matter
be referred to State Board of Control or County Board.. Roll 8all, all ayes.
Resolution by Earrow, seconded by ~assett, that petition for reduction
of assessment on Lots $1, 32, 34, Block S, Reservoir Hills Addition, be
denied and copy of.res&lution be retmmned to Count7 Auditor.. Roll call,
all ayes.
