Resolution by Kar~ow, seconded by Bassett, that the bills be allowed out of the
proper funds. Roll call, all ~ves.
Motion by Tjosvold, seconded by Bassett, that the request of Lloyd ~riffin for
fuel for the warming house at 43rd and Jackson St. , be granted and a half ton
of coal given, to be taken as needed and paid for out of the 'administr~a~tion fund.

Motion by Tjosv01d, seconded by Karrow, that the City Treasurer be authoriZe'~ to
issue a check in the amount of $26.25 to Central Nation~l Bank, because of a~
error in interest on savings. Roll call, all ayes.
Motion by Tjosvold, seconded by Karrow, that the City Manager be requested to a~k
for bids on hauling of garbage. Roll call, all!ayes.
Motion by Tjosvold, seconded by Bassett, that the City Manager be instructed to
communicate~with the Chamnlin 0il Company and tell them that we are unable to
give them fire protection due to inadequate equipment, and for them to get in'
touch with Minneapolis. Roll call, all a~es.
Motion by Karrow,seconded by Tjosvold, that the communication from Leonard Keyes,
be placed on file. Roll call, all 8Tes.
Motion by~Karr~, seconded by Tjosvold, to allow the Minnesota League of Munici-
palities $8.00~for~legislative services during the 1935 legislative session.

Motion by Tjosvold, seconded by Bassett, that all members^attend the Legislative
C&hference of the League to be held at the Lowry Hotel Jan. 19th, ~, and

Whereas, the Arcade Investment Company has d~eded to the City of Columbia Heights,
those oarcels of land descriOed as: Lots l, 2, ~, 4, 5, and 6 Block l0 of Walton's
Sunny Acres, 4th subdivision according to the plat or .map thereof on file and of
record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Anoka County, Minnesota,
to be used for a public Dark and recreational grotu%ds, ~d
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Col~mbia Heights is desireus of acceptin
and taking advantage of the gi~t of said parcels of land aid to hold the same for
the use em.d benefit of the people of Columbia Heights as a public Dark ead recrea-
tional ground,
Therefore Be it Resolved by the City Co~xncil of the City of Col~nbia HeighSs in re
gular meeting convened on the 8th day of Janizary 1~S5, that the City of Columbia
Heights, accept said ~arcels of land, n~%mely, lots, 1,2,S,4,5,and 6, Blcok l0 Waltons
Sunny Acres, 4th Subdivision, and that the said parcels of land be and they hereby
are dedicated to the use of the oublic as a public Dark and recreational ground
forever', e~d that said oublic Dark shall henceforth be inuov~ and designated as 'The'
01stead Public Park."

by filling in the blank application. Roll call, all ayes.
