Special Meeti~ c~led to order December 4, 1934, at the City Offices at
All members present.
Meeting called for the purpose of investigating charges of alleged dis-
crimination against Mr. H. Earrow, by the SERA Assignment Of£icero and
any other business which might come before the meeting.
Resolution offered by Miller, seconded by Tjosvold, that the City Manager
be instructed to write Mr. W. E. Hallberg, Man~ger, Deoartment of Public
Relations, and state that the Council has investigated the matter of their
letter, and have come to the conclusion that they hays no answer to make.
Roll call - Ayes: Tjosvold, Miller, Bassett, Crisp.
Naars: None.
Motion by Tjosvold, seconded by Karrow, that the Council go on record in
favor of the following:
Shoul~ the Zeague of Minnesota Municipalities give support to an effort to
secure a portion or all of the cost of street maintenance in all mnnicipali-
ties from the tax on gasoline either from the present tam or from an addi-
tion thereto for the purpose of taking this burden off real estate and plac-
ing it uoon street users? Roll call, all s~ves.
Motion to adjourn by Tjosvold, seconded by Bassett.
