Be it resolved by the City of ColL~nbia Heights, that the fee for a permit to sell, store, ~pls~y or give away fireworks within the corporate limits of the City of Columbia Heights for the year 1935, shall be $15.00. Whereas, the City of CSlu~foia Heights has received a request from the Ceutral National Bank to substitute certain bonds as collateral for the money of the City off C61umbia Heights on deposit in said ban~, and Whereas, the funds of the City o£ Colv~abia Heights will be ~ply protected by allowing such substitution, Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Treasurer be and she hereby is authorized to release the following bonds held as collateral, to-wit: U. Request be Edward Hadden, that the oenal~ies on water bills be cancelled for the property owners who belong to the Organized Unemployed. Motion by Karrow, seconded by G~.~r. non, that all persons now delinquent on water bills will be given ni~:ety days to pay part, or all of said bills and that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cancel all penalties, and that afSer said date, penalties on all ~upaid bills will be collected. Resolution offered by Gannon, seconded by Stinson, that the City Clerk and the City Mana- ger's salaries be cut 20% to take effedt immediately. Amendment offered by Tjosvold, to take 20% from the City Ms~ager's salary of $1ffO. as set in the budget, instead of the $160. now earned. --mmw~r~zx Amendment lost.
