Application of American Legion to sell fireworks at 37th & Reservoir Blvd., held over

Resolution offered by Tjosvold, seconded by Gannon.
Be it resolved by the City of ColL~nbia Heights, that the fee for a permit to sell, store,
~pls~y or give away fireworks within the corporate limits of the City of Columbia Heights
for the year 1935, shall be $15.00. Roll call, all ayes.

collateral to City Funds.

Whereas, the City of CSlu~foia Heights has received a request from the Ceutral National
Bank to substitute certain bonds as collateral for the money of the City off C61umbia
Heights on deposit in said ban~, and
Whereas, the funds of the City o£ Colv~abia Heights will be ~ply protected by allowing
such substitution,
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Treasurer be and she hereby is authorized
to release the following bonds held as collateral, to-wit:
U. S. 4th Liberty Lo~, Nos. 88909, 88910, and $8416S, ~ $S0,000.00
and bo accept in lieu thereof as collateral for moneys on deposit in the Central National
