Anna Williams First Readin~ of Ordinance An ordimmnce amending an ordinance pro~ibitin~ the use o~ sale at retail of certain fireworks and providin~ a penalty for violation thereof in the City of Columbia Heighta, passed on the ~th day of May 1928, and amended on the 27th day of ~day 1930. The City of Columbia Heights does ordain: That section !~ of an Ordinance prohibiting the use or s~le at retail of certain fireworks and providing a penalty for the violation thereof passed on the 8th day of ~ay 1928, and amended on the 27th day of May t930, and reads as follows: Section ~ - Permits. Persons, firms or corporations desiring to secure permits to sell, store, display or ~ive away fireworks other than in their usual place of bNsiness within the corporate limits of the City of Columbi~ Heights must maintain a business in or be a bona fide resident of the City of Columbia Heights for at least three months y, rior to July 1st of each ~ear, an~ shall apply therefore to the City Council in writing for such permit to sell, store or ~isplay or ~ive away fireworks within the corporate limits of the City of Columbia Heights. The fee for such mit shall be m~i~ J~50.O0 and shall accompany the applic~tion. Such permit shall be vali~ only betwwen June 25th and July 5th of the yea~ in which issued. Be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows: Sectidn 4 - Permits.
