Regular meeting called to order Jan. 10, 1933 at the High S~hool
Building. All members prosent.
Previous minutes read and approved.
President of the Minnesota Police Organization heard from, with
regard to cooperation of the Police in the 87 Counties in tho State.
Motion by Karrow, seconded by Stinson that the question of. cutting
the Theatre Tax, be held over until the next meeting.

Resolution offered by Karrow, seconded by Stinson, that the bills be
allowed. Roll call, all ayes.
Motion by Stinson, seconded by Karrow, that the request of the Fire
Dept. for license to sell Fireworks for the season of 1933 at 37th
and Central on the East Side of Central, be granted, and the fee can-
celled. Roll call, all ayes.
Motion by Karrow, seconded by Gannon, that the following request for
Restaurant licenses be granted:
Donnie's Lunch - 8!48-~0th Ave. Mrs. Berge's - 9l~O-~Oth Ave.
Mrs. W. Cott~ell - 838-41st Ave.

'Motion by Karrow, seconded by Stinson, that the request of Ernest
Jahr for Restaurant License be held over until next meeting, for ins
vestigation (non-resident), but that he be allowed to ~pa~ate. Roll

Letter from the ~innesota ?.~unicipalities with re~ard to
voluntary Legislative ~ssessment, for those municipalities
desiring to receive special information service' during the
legislative session on status of bills introdueed in the
legislature.
Notion by Karrow, seconded by Tjosvold, that the fee of $8.OO.~
be paid the the League of Ninnesota Nunicipalities for special
Legislative service. Roll call, all ayes.

to the Legislative Conference to be held at the St. Paul Hotel,
St. Paul, ~innesota, ~an. 19, 193~.
Letter read from Stanley Gates Bonding Co. with regard to
Colhmbia Heights 6~ Refunding Bonds.
Representative of Allison Williams Company also heard from in
regard to the above.
Resolution offered by Karrow,
Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Columbia
Heights, the the proper City Officials be and they hereby are
authorized and directed to purchase and retire $2000. Columbia~

Heights 6% Refunding Bonds due June l, 193~ at 9~ and/in~eres~.
Seconded by Gannon. Roll call, all ayes.
Request by Nr. Cederberg to ~udit the City Books. ~otion by
Tjosvold, seconded by Gannon, to lay same aside until next meet-
ing. Roll call, all ayes.
Notion by Karrow, seconded by Gannon, that Zr. Nack's license
fee be laid aside until next meeting, but that he be allowed to
operate until then. Roll call, all ayes.
Notion by Stinson, seconded by Gannbn, that Nr. Karrow be retained
as Chairman of the Public Relief.
Roll call - Ayes: Gannon, Stinson, Welch.
Nays: Tjosvold.

salary be cut to $25.00 per month and that she be retained as
Secretary of the Public Relief, under the jurisdiction of
Narrow.
Amendment to the motion by Tjosvold,~ that the salm~y be made
to read $15. per month in place of ~25. Seconded by Stinson.

of the Poor Relief be in the office from 9 until 12 every
day to t~ke care of tbs Relief. Roll call, all ayes.

Motion by Tjosvold, seconded by Kar~ow, that the Council
be furnished with ~ monthly ~eport on the Poo~ Relief.

Be it Resolved by the City of Columbia Heights,
That the following Physicians maintainin~ an office in the
City of Columbia Heights be, and the same hereby a~ appointed
to act as physicians for the City of Columbia Heights in the
Public Relief Department, to-wit:

Dr. F. F. Kumm
Dr. H. D. Good
