Motion lost without a second. Bill held for the new council. Motion by Dahl, seconded by Gannon, to adjourn. Mayor OFFICIAL PROCEEDING$ Regular meeting called to order July l~th, at 8:~0 PM. present. All new members Motion by'TJosvold, seconded by Gannon, that Mary Yan Wormer be retained as ~ecretary to the Council. All ayes. Carried. Resolution by Karrow, that the present City ~ttorney be paid at the rate of $100. per month~up to and inclu~i~g July 1Sth. Seconded byrd. Roll Call - Ayes: Tjosvold, Gannon, Stin~0n, Karrow. Motion by Karrow, seconde~ by ~tinson~~"~e City Manager dispense with the services of the City Attorney, same ~o take effect the 1Sth of July.' Roll call - Ayes: Tjosvold,~Gannon, Stlnson, Karrow. Resolution by Karrow that the Council meeb July 28th for the regular 'meet- ing at 8 PM sharp and thereafter on the 2nd and Ath Tuesday of each month. Seconded by Stinson. Roll,call - Ayes: Tjosvold, Gannon, $tin~on, Karrow. Motion by Karrow, requesting present Oity.Manager to dispense wXth the utility man, Dan Quesnell. Motion lost without a second. Motion by ~Karrow ttmt the Mayor appoint a committee of the Council $$ and the City Manager and. lock. over a car that~might be suitable for police duty. Seconded by Stinson. Mayor Welch appointed Karrow and Gannon. Motion by Karrow, requesting that the Mayor appoint himself and two other members of the council to act with the Co~mmanity ~md of Minneapolis. Seconded by Cannon. The Mayor appointed ~ and TJosvold. Motion by Karrow, seconded by Stinson to retain J- E. Carroll as City Eingineer. Holl Call - Ayes: Tjosvold, Gannon, Stinson, Karrow. Motion by Karrow, seconded by Gannon that Tjosvold be appointed as a member of the Library ~oard. Holl Call - Ayes: Gannon, Stinson Karrow. Not Voting - Tjosvold.
