Resolution by Karrow, seconded by Gannon The City Council of the City of Columbia heights, met at the Regular meeb ingplace on the 9th day of June, 1931, as the Canvas. sing ~oard for the Regular Municipal Elect~ion held on the 8th day of Oune, 1931. All me~bers pre sent: The returns of the Regular Municipal Ele6tion were canvassed and it appem~ that for the Office of Mayor, George D. Bower, received 23 votes, Wm. R. Foster, recei~d 463 votes, $$6 John L. Twedt received 2~ votes and Howland F. Welch received 1114 votes and said Howland F. W&lch was duly declared elected to the office of Mayor~ of the City of Columbia Heights for the te~m of two (2) years. For the office of Councilman, Carlton W. Dahl received 317 votes, H. W. Karrow received 976 votes, Andrew Koss received 133 votes, C. B. Little received 406 votes and L. A. TJosvold received 988 votes, and H. W. Karrow and L. A. TJosvold were declared elected to the te~m of Councilman for the City of Columbia ~eights for the te~m of four (4) years. For the office of Municipal Judge, Archie W. Johnson ~eceived 195 votes, Clyde C- Johnson received 1017 votes and Milton G. 0uimette~ received" 408 votes, and said Clyde C. Johnson was de~la~ed elected to the office of Municipal Judge of the City of Columbia Heights for the te~m of Form (4) years. The 'total number of goods ballots cast was 1640.
