AND WHEREAS the Consulting ~ginee~ was instr~ted to draw a plan and
specifications fo~foresaid catch basin and c.onn~ction whichT~lan and
specification wpuld be drawn in accordance with the requirements of
the City Engineer of ~inno~polis, ~innesota, ,
AND~NNEREA the Consulting.Engineer has presented Drawing ~553 to;.this
Council showing a' plan ~d specification that is satisfactory to .the
said City ~ginee'r in. wl~ich, e:ndorsemen~ a~d plan is set forth the condi-
tions and limitations 'under whichthe .c~t. ch basin and conmectionsmay
be constructed and also the responsibility of the City Of Colzunbia Heigh

in mat~ter of claims of any kind or nature that. may be against the
City of ~inneapolis in consequence of the construction and use of
said catch basin and the connection thereto with the Minneapolis
~ew~r,
THEHEFOP~E? BE iT RESOLVED that said plan and specification as shown
on dr~wing ~553 is hereby approved and that~ a certified copy of this
Hesolution by filed with the City Engineer of ~iinneapolis.

BE IT E-ESOLYED,
That whereas permission was granted the'~ater Department of the City
of hlinneapolis to install a 48 inch water main on 45th Ave. N. E. be-
tween ~ain Street and the Reservoir and whereas after said water main
was installed it was found that it was not installed in accordance with
the grade f~xed for that part of 45th Ave. N.E between Oniversity Ave.,
and 4th st.,
-AND WHEHEA~, it was deemed expedient and necessary on the part of the
City to cause such ~ater main to be lowered sufficiently so that when
the street was graded, adequate provision could be made for the storm
water runoff and Whereas it was d~emed advisable by this City to change
and modify the grade on said part of 45th Ave. N. E. between ~niversity
Ave. and 4th ~t.,
THEREFORE BE IT RE'g~LVED, that the change of grade as shown by D~aW-
lng ~b42 for 45th Ave. N. E. between Oniversity Ave. and 4th St., be
and is hereby fixed ~a.s the .established grade and that all resolu-
tions or parts oI' Resolutions inconsistent herewith be~ recinded and
repealed. Roll call - all ayes.
