OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS
Adjourned meeting called to order, June 17th, 1950 at the High School
Building at 9:00 PM. All members present.
The purpose of the meeting was to submit the final decision in,regards
to the purchase of a Fire Truck.
Motion by Karrow to reject al]. bids. Motion lost without a second.
Mr. Dahl introdueed the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights,
Anoka County, Minnesota, that the City Manager be and he hereby is,
authorized and instructed to enter into contract with the C. H. Will
Motors Company, for the purchase of a Fire Truck acccrding to the
specifications submitted, exclusive of Rubber goods, at their bid price
of $4875.
Adopted by the Council June 17th, 1950.

Mr. Gannon seconded the motion to adopt said resolution and upon roll
call it was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Dahl, Gannon, Stinson
Nays: Karrow
Mr. Karrow introdueed the.following resolution and moved its adoption:
Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights,
Anoka County, Minnesota, that the City Manager be and he hereby is,
authorized and instructed to enter into contract with the Eureka Company,
represented by J. Crane for the ~rchase of the following:
500 ft. 2~" Hose 1.15 per ft.
200 ft. ~." Hose .85 per ft.
6 Coats
6 Pr. Boots
6 Helmets

matter, N~r. Dahl introduced the following resolution and ~oved its adopt-

Be it Resolved by the City Co,~cll of the City of Columbia Heights,
Anoka County, ~innesota, that it is, in the judgment of this Council,
advisable, expedient and necessary to issue the Ref~nding Bonds of the
C~ty ~n the amount of $7,000 for paying a judgmer~t~ there not being
sufficient moneys on hand in the treasury of said City available for that
~rpos e.
The this Council ~ll meet on t~:~e 8th day of July, 1930, at 8:00 o'clock
P. E. at the Hi~ School Building in said City to receive and consider bids
for 'such bonds. That s~d bonds bsar interest at not to exceed 6~ per
a~m~, payable semi-annually, be date July 1st, 1930, and mature serially
[~1000 on July 1st of each of the years from 1933 to 1939 both inclusive.
That the City C2erk is hereby directed to cause due notice of such meeting
to be given by publishing a not~c~~ ',thereof pursuant to law in the official
newspaper of said City.

as requesting the business men and property owners of Colmubia Heights to
find out whether their Fire Insurance is written as City of Ninneapolis,
and if it is, the Council request that they have it ct~anged to read "City
of Col~bia Heichts" if it 'is not too great an inconvenience.
