Roll Call Hovland, Petkoff, Norberg, Hentges, Nawrocki--present Purpose of Meeting This special meeting is the continuation of the public hearing held on October 24, 1983. which also would be the second reading for Ordinance No. 1060 and Ordinance No. 1061. Ordinance No. 1060 Granting of a Certain Easement Ordinance No. 1060 received its first reading at the Council meeting of October 11, 1983. It addresses the granting of a twelve foot easement across City property to the property owner directly behind the Library for access to her garage. The property owner, Mrs. Schuh, had originally sold the property in question as well as additional property to the City for parking of cars by library patrons. Mrs. Schuh's son stated they were not interested in just twelve feet and did not wish to pursue this matter at this time. The ordinance was offered by Councilman Hovland but received no second. Motion dies for lack of a second. Ordinance No. lO61 Vacating an Alley An amended copy of Ordinance No. lO61 was passed out to the Council members. Much discussion followed regarding methods that could be employed to accommodate Mr. Malcolm Oglesby's re- quest for this alley vacation. It was his hope to have this alley vacated so he could be able to build a double garage. An easement problem on an adjoining parcel of property had been reconciled with the owner and various other avenues for a solution for Mr. Oglesby explored. His hope was that he could start the construction of the garage before winter weather came. A second reading of the ordinance was not held nor was a continuation of the public hearing approved. ~djournment Motion by Hentges, second by Petkoff to adjourn the meeting at ayes Anne Studen't, Counc'l't--Secretary 10:20 pm..Roll g~ll: All Nawrocki, Mayor
