2. Purpose of Meeting
Consideration of filing a registered land survey for the parcel of land around
Sullivan Lake area
3. Registered Land Survey Presentation
The City Manager, with the use of maps and graphs, detailed the tracts under consid-
eration at this hearing. The City's Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the
plat in question and found it to be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. Council-
man Norberg expressed concern about an area that was not included in this survey.
He felt that by virtue of it not being included it may ultimately be neglected.
The City Manager explained that this parcel was omitted because of its potential
for' purchase by a developer. He felt anyone who intends to develop in thls area
would be inclined to maintain this parcel because of its aesthetics and general ap-
pearance. Councilman Norberg drew the analogy of what has happened to privately-
owned property, surrounding LaBelle Park and the potential for the same thing hap-
pening to the property near Sullivan Lake.
Motion by Heintz, second by Hentges to waive the reading of the resolution there
being ample copies available to the public. Roll call: All ayes
