HomeMy WebLinkAboutApr 9, 1979 (2)MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE COLUMBIA HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF ASSOCIATION, VOLUNTEER DIVISION APRIL 9, 1979 The meeting was called to order at 12:45 a.m. Roll Call: Logacz, Heintz, Norberg, Hentges, Nawrocki - Present Motion by Heintz, seconded by Hentges, to appoint Laurie Houk as secretary for this meeting. Roll Call: All Ayes Mayor Nawrocki stated that the purpose of the meeting was to appoint an actuary for the Columbia Heights Fire Fighters, Volunteer Division. The City Manager stated that the recommendation is to appoint Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Company in the amount of $625.00 plus $1.50 for each active and retired employee. Motion by Heintz, seconded by Hentges, that authorization be given to engage the services of Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Company as actuaries for the Fire Department Relief Association, Volunteer Division. Discussion followed on the proposal. John Schedler, Finance Director, was directed to obtain an estimate on an additional report the Board of Trustees requires.
