Continued Special Meeting
Board of Equal ization
May 28, ]974
Meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m.
Roll Call - Logacz, Heintz, Norberg, Land, Nawrocki - present
Motion by Norberg, Second by Land to appoint Margo Emerson
Secretary Pro-tern for the remainder of the Board of Equal ization
meeting. Roll Call - All Ayes
Discussion centered around Mrs. Car]son's report on a re-valuation
of the properties at 22l] - 40th Avenue (Mr. Walter K]is) and
3730 Lincoln Street (Mr. Michael Niznik). She explained what the
basement finishings consist of in both locations.
Mrs. Carlson recommended a $200 reduction on 221] - 40th Avenue.
Mr. K]is was present and expressed his views on the valuation.
Mrs. Carlson recommended no change on the valuation at 3730 Lincoln
Street
Mr. Gayle Leon from the Anoka County Assessor's office was present
and explained the procedure whereby an individual can request a change
in his valuation through the County Assessors office.
Following discussion, Motion by Norberg, Second by Land to amend the
assessment rolls to reflect a $200 reduction on 221l 40th Avenue.
Roll Call - All Ayes
Motion by Norberg, Second by Land to adopt the assessment rolls as
they stand with the change at 221] - 40th Avenue. Roll Call All Ayes
Motion by NOrberg, Second by Heintz to adjourn at 8:09 p.m.
